Living and visiting space will be a different environment and experience than what we are used to. Our 5 senses will need to be stimulated — art incorporated with stimulation, designed to go to space.
Working with the foster care community and others, DITF is designing our way into space — creating environments for function and purpose, with infinite space for continued growth.

Consignment Art
No outings for ice cream. No dog park visits. Confined in a space with no escape — our 5 senses will need to be stimulated. Art incorporated with stimulation, designed to go to space.
Digital Art
Screen walls able to be changed from a sunny day in Malibu to a rainy night in the tropics. Snow in the mountains with room temperature to match — at a click of a button. A comfortable texture reminding us of Earth.
Commissioned Painting
Anonymous Foster Artist participating artists bringing commissioned works into the habitat. Art that connects the crew to humanity, to memory, to the world left behind.
