Designing our way into space
A Call to Space Agencies
DITF is asking space agencies — both commercial and government entities — to contact DITF to take “SAFARI” to its potential.
Every business card and personal mark on this analogue in Utah, USA by international astronauts has not only forever marked this analogue but has also marked our journey to the final frontier — Space.
Everyone who has touched these Earth analogues has made their mark in our future. This is the right time to move forward.
Research Goals
Goal 01
Long Term Isolation Studies
Astronauts rotating through — finding the right team is the focus, to send a crew. Understanding how humans endure and thrive in prolonged isolation is the foundation of every mission.
Goal 02
Closed Biosphere Studies
Earth analogues need to be government-protected and government-funded with others. Creating self-sustaining environments that mirror the conditions of deep space habitation.
Goal 03
Greenhouse Food Growth
Excellent goals for advanced communication systems in place. All analogues working together on the same page in constant communication — permanent crews set up at each analogue being studied and rotated until the right crew is together.
First Steps to Moving Forward
- Advanced Communication Systems in place
- All analogues working together in constant communication
- Permanent crews set up at each analogue, studied and rotated
- Finding the right crew to send — together
DITF is asking to get the proper protection and funding to bring “SAFARI” to its full potential — and is asking both commercial and government entities to contact DITF.
